What mailagent is
mailagent is a small personal tool written and operated by a single individual for his or her own use. It is not offered to the public, and it has no accounts, sign-up, or users other than its owner.
What it does
mailagent connects to the owner's own Gmail account through the Gmail API, using the read-only scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly). It looks for specific automated emails, such as one-time verification codes and billing or sales notifications, and extracts short pieces of information from them (for example, a numeric code or an amount). The extracted values are used by the owner's own automation scripts running on the owner's own server.
What it does not do
- It does not send, modify, or delete any email.
- It does not access any account other than the owner's own.
- It does not share email content with anyone or any other service.

mailagentとは
mailagentは、個人が自分自身のために作成・運用している小さなツールです。一般には公開しておらず、アカウント登録の仕組みもなく、利用者は所有者本人のみです。
できること
mailagentは、Gmail APIの読み取り専用スコープ（https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly）を使って、所有者本人のGmailアカウントに接続します。ワンタイムの認証コードや、請求・売上の通知など、特定の自動送信メールを探し、そこから短い情報（数字のコードや金額など）を取り出します。取り出した値は、所有者本人のサーバー上で動く自動化スクリプトが利用します。
しないこと
- メールの送信、変更、削除は行いません。
- 所有者本人以外のアカウントにはアクセスしません。
- メールの内容を、他の人やサービスに共有しません。
